I can narrate this one lovely experience million times. It has mindblowing beauty. Words really cannot explain what experience it creates. It is an escapade for ‘working class heroes’. The sweet smell of air will hypnotise you to live there forever. Out of the hustle bustle of busy life schedules, it brings peace of mind that is hard to locate in the cities. The long ranges of mountain terrains are sure to take your catch the eye.

For the people who do not know what I am talkin about, it is a small province in Iloilo, Philipines. It has a popuplation of about twenty thousand people. One good quality I like is that it is far from tecnological developments. Atleast now it has electricity. It is just like other tourist spots now though. You can find travel guides in common hotels. They know the place well and can give you a guided experience of the place. For the people who like to adventure, batad is the place. Young people generally tend to look around on their on their own. They do not prefer any guide.
A very beautiful place near Batad is Banaue. People choose to treck from here. This is a common place for hikers.
The most beautiful thing about this place is the evening. The weather during evening is so beautiful that words cannot express it. You can see huge ranges of mountains where local people terrace farm for living. These farms produce mainly rice. Farming has become a prime source of living apart for tourism, which bring in money.
The tourist department is very active. They ensure proper safety of all the tourists. The government runs the department of tourism. They run special hotels for tourists. This is where they can get complete information about the place, where to go, how to go, etc.
Although, the place Banaue is more famous as a tourist location, Batad is more beautiful. It is little difficult to reach there as there are no proper roads that connect to Batad. You have to hike a little of the journey. Another attraction is that the terrace farming culture is common at the peaks of the mountains and it gives a shape of an amphitheatre.
A sixteen-kilometer journey can take you from Banaue to Batad. You can shorten the distance to about thirteen kilometers if you dare to hike. I wish luck to all the intersted people.
